Ten children from Riverwoods Christian Center received new bikes yesterday, as FONA International partnered with the Leaders Institute to assemble and donate the bikes as a team-building and community outreach event during its quarterly management meeting. This was the second time FONA has hosted this event. This year it was tied to the meeting theme of gears — symbolizing working together with customers and with the community to achieve great results. The children selected to receive the bikes either had been working hard to get good grades, made the honor role at their school, or have perfect attendance at Riverwoods programs.
