FONA International Announces Contribution to Lazarus House by Business Networking International

FONA International Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of a full line of quality flavors for the food and beverage industries, is pleased to share news of a recent donation made on their behalf to a local shelter working with the area’s homeless and very low income residents. The Active Business Chapter of Business Network International (BNI) donated $2,000 to Lazarus House in St. Charles on FONA’s behalf, giving thanks to FONA for opening their headquarters to BNI’s weekly networking meetings.
“Investing our resources, facilities and time with the community is an integral part of the culture at FONA,” says Luke Slawek, FONA’s Confections Business Unit Director. “We are thankful to BNI for this generous donation in our name to support the wonderful people of Lazarus House, whose work is vital to our community.”

About Lazarus House The Lazarus House mission is to provide hospitality, food, safe shelter, and support services to persons connected to our community who are homeless or in need. Currently about 60 men, women and children reside in their emergency shelter and transitional living facilities, and another 62 households are receiving monthly rental subsidies which enable them to maintain their housing.
